Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengukuran Psikoogi (JPPP) is an open access journal in psychology published by The Faculty of Psychology Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). JPPP is a bi-annual peer reviewed journal that publishes original and meaningful contributions to the field of psychology in Indonesia. The journal aims for experimental, theoretical, measurement development and theoretical review articles in all areas of psychology. In particular, we expected to received article with advances statistical analysis in measurement, psychometric, and modelling study in psychology.

Abstract

The study is done to know the influence of father involvement on the tendency to become victims of conflict in dating relationship. Researcher used scale quantitative methods psychology. Researcher used adapted instrument, namely Nurturant Fathering Scales & Father Involvement Scale subscale Reported Father Involvement Scale and Conflict in Adolescent Dating Relationship Inventory (CADRI). There are 350 samples of respondent which is adolescent girl who has romantic relationship and living with their father. The data processing used in the testing of hypotheses analytics regression. The result of the influence is negative, this means that the higher father involvement, the lower on the tendency to become victims of dating violence in adolescent girl. The big influence of produced father involvement on the tendency to become victims of dating violence is 2,4% and the rest influenced by other factors.

Abstract

In addition to the teacher must have the quality of academic competence, quality and a good pedagogic competence also exists in non-verbal behavior components face. The characteristics of teacher's face is divided into four types: Anomalous Face, Baby Face, Emotion Face and Familiar Face. This research is descriptive research, data retrieval technique using the Likert Scale, Guttman Scale and Manipulation Cchecks for participants control never see facial characteristics of the teachers presented earlier. In data retrieval, facial characteristics of teachers compared with other teachers face characteristics. Based on the perspective of primary school students in the research sample, the result is the characteristic of the teacher's face Familiar Face menservants and characteristic facial Emotion Face female teachers have the highest value. Result shows that familiar face characteristics for male teachers and emotion face characteristics for female teachers have the highest scores.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of work-family conflict on the performance of female public elementary school teachers. This study uses quantitative approach, expose facto method. The technique used in this study sample was purposive sampling technique. Researchers adapted teacher performance research instruments developed based on Depdiknas theory. Work-family conflict instruments use the theory of Dawn S. Carlson and Larry J. Williams. The level of teacher performance item reliability of 0.81, and work-family conflict of 0.71. Final respondents from this study as many as 50 people. Hypothesis test is done by using regression analysis. The result of regression analysis showed that the significance value of 0.012 is smaller than the significance level of 0.05, then there is a significant influence of work-family conflict on the performance of female elementary school teachers. The result showed negative effects which indicates that the higher work- family conflict the teacher's performance in this study will decrease. Then the results of this study is a significant difference between work-family conflict on the performance of female public elementary school teachers. The magnitude of the resulting from regression analysis by 12.3%, while 87.7% are influenced by other factors that are not included in this study.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the role of empathy toward teacher's self-control in teaching at public elementary school. This research uses quantitative method. Adaptation from QCAE instruments (Cognitive and Affective Empathy Questionnaire) and self-control instruments were constructed based on Averill's theory is occupied as Empathy instruments. The sample of this research is 72 respondents, public elementary school teacher. The method used in this research is regression analysis. The result is positive influence. This shows the higher level of empathy teachers will have impact on the higher self- control. Presentation the influence result is 9,7% and rest influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job demands on workplace well-being in public special school teachers. There are 126 subjects of this study who were selected by using the purposive sampling technique. This study uses quantitative method. Data collecting technique used instruments which were adapted by researcher based on The Workplace Well-Being Index and The Job Demands-Resources Questionnaire. The hypothesis was tested using the linear aggression analysis of one predictor. The result of the data analysis showed the score of F count = 32,479 > F table = 3,94 with the score of p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). This means that there is a significant effect of job demands on workplace well-being in public special school teachers and the effect is 20,8%.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the influence of teacher personality on teacher attitudes toward inclusive education. The variables studied were the big five personalities as an independent variable (X) and teacher attitudes toward inclusive education as a dependent variable (Y). The method used is quantitative research, with cluster sampling technique. Participants of this study were teachers from inclusion public elementary school in Jakarta (N = 133). The instrument used to measure teacher personality is Big Five Inventory (BFI), while Multidimensional Attitudes toward Inclusive Education Scale (MATIES) was used to measure teacher attitudes toward inclusive education. Processing methods of data analysis in hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis. Results of this study showed there is no influence of teacher personality on teacher attitudes toward inclusive education (p < α; 0,113 < 0,05). Therefore, in this study Ho is accepted and Ha rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of empathy on teachers work motivation in special needs school. The population of this study are the teachers of special needs school. This study uses a quantitative method with the sample amounted to 81 respondents. This study uses two scales which are the scale of teacher’s work motivation and empathy scale. Both of the scale were arranged by researcher based on work motivation theories of Louis George and Tara Sabhapathy. Empathy scale based on empathy theories of The QCAE (a Questionnaire of Cognitive and Affective Empathy). The hypothesis test used in this study using a regression analysis one predictor. Based on the analysis of data, obtained F count 11.272 > F Table 3.96 with p = 0.001 (p < 0.05). Its means there is a significant influence of empathy on teacher’s work motivation in special needs school. The result shows a positive influence which means if there’s a high level of empathy in special need school’s teachers, then the level of work motivation will be high.
